This is a digital interactive book that users can watch on electronic devices such as mobile phones or iPads. The book adds elements of collage and illustration and interacts with the audience through animation and clicking icons to switch music and images. This book shows this Beasley Street in the 1980s from the perspective of a mouse in the form of a story. At the beginning of the book, Beasley Street is a grey street. A colourful mouse came to this street and spent seven days here. During these seven days, it saw the tramp on the street, and a woman died of drug abuse, a burglary, a murder, a father raped his daughter, and the sky full of crows. In the process, the street slowly turned colour, and the mouse eventually turned black and white. On the seventh day, it is eaten by a cat in a dream. The end of the story heralded the end of poverty and chaos in the 1980s and echoed the appearance of the improved street in Beasley Boulevard created by John Cooper Clarke.
